My name is Ulrike, I was born in Germany and have lived in Australia for the last 11 years, enjoying life in the peaceful surrounds of the Hepburn Shire.

My journey started back in Germany, where I was lucky enough to study at a massage school run by the Norwegian psychologist and physiotherapist Gerda Boyesen. We shared a profound appreciation of the oneness of a person’s body, mind and spirit. My studies include classic massage, reflexology, acupressure, Shiatsu, TuiNa and Reiki, and I have recently qualified as a Qi Gong practitioner.

In my fourteen years here in Australia it took quite a while to get back to what I love doing most. To find a nurturing and peaceful environment such as Maiaveda is truly a coming home for me.
